From June 19 to July 28, in the Janina Monkutė-Marks Museum-Gallery, the international exhibition “GIFT WORKS” from the funds of the Janina Monkutė-Marks Museum will delight visitors.

During more than twenty years of exhibition activity, an artistic collection consisting of textile, painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, graphics, and leather works of art has been accumulated. Authors from 27 countries donated artworks to the collection.

During the last year, after the international fiber art exhibitions “Inspiration” and “Creativity” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of of the birth of Janina Monkutė-Marks, the museum’s collection was filled with as many as 37 impressive fiber art works. This year, in the exhibition of gifted works, we are exhibiting the most recent donated works and more interesting fiber art works that have been already added to the museum’s collection.

In total, 63 artists and 72 of their works are presented in the exhibition.
